Do you think active wear should be worn for standard exercise activities only? Gym, Yoga Studio? running the trails? If your answer is yes I’m here to tell you NO! Change your school of thought.

We exist in a time full of active lifestyles. Almost everything we do in today’s world involves participating in an active activity. We’re constantly running around and making things happen, and I for one want to be comfortable while doing it.

On a daily basis I can effortlessly incorporate active wear in my lifestyle, even though I don’t go to a gym, a yoga studio, or regularly hike up Kilimanjaro.

Yard work, cleaning the house, walks and bike rides, dinner at my parents, coffee with my friends, grocery store, running the kids around to sports. I even work in my activewear (albeit from my home office).

Listen up, if you haven’t embraced activewear into your lifestyle because you don’t go to a gym…you’re missing out. Fortunately, with subscriptions boxes like Ellie, you can have super cute activewear choices that give standard fashions, a real run for their money.

Marika – Wild Plum Medium Impact Sports Bra

Hands down the most comfortable sports bra I’ve worn.

Not only is this a wild plum color but it’s a richly pigmented deep plum color. It has great front coverage and a really unique and easy to wear strappy back.

It doesn’t pull awkwardly or press uncomfortably into your skin at all. And it looks amazing through an open back shirt.

Balance Collection – Wild Plum Lotus Valeria Capri Legging (22” inseam)

These leggings perfectly match to the deep plum color of the sports bra.

Lovely soft and smooth fabric with zero sheen. The detailing of a very pale pink and pale lavender crisscross cutout is fabulous. Reminds me of delicate ribbons!

Marika – Lotus Pink Top

It’s fresh, light, and roomy yet still gives your body shape.

This light and airy sleeveless top is a pale pink that perfectly matches the ribbon detail color on the leggings.

I love the back cutout. Normally this would annoy me because it would tend to fall off one shoulder. Fortunately, this one has a perfect solution with the attached line of string holding it together at the nape of the neckline.

Bottom line we lead busy and full lives full of activewear worthy happenings. Get yourself into something comfortable and tackle that big bright to do list.
