How Does Smile Direct Club Work?

To start with Smile Direct Club, you can either book a 3D image in on of their local SmileShops or you get an at-home impression kit sent to your house. Once either of those are complete, a licensed dentist or orthodontist will review your smile plan and guide your new smile remotely from beginning to end. So cool! Pretty teeth, no extra time out of my schedule? Saweet!

Once the doctors figures out the best plan of attack to straighten your teeth and you figure out which payment plans works best for your wallet, they send your clear aligners and premium whitening directly to you. Your clear aligners will come as a set of multiple aligners. As you wear them, according to the plan designed by the orthodontist or dentist on your case, each aligner will make slight adjustments to tooth position. You’ll begin wearing a new set of aligners as prescribed, advancing you to the next stage of your new straighter teeth.

Once your smile is perfect, Smile Direct Club offers retainers to help maintain the smile you love for only $99 a set.

If the dentist or orthodontist determines that our clear aligners aren’t the right fit for you, Smile Direct Club will gladly refund your risk-free impression kit or SmileShop scan. If, within the first 30 days of your smile plan, you’re dissatisfied for any reason, contact Smile Direct Club directly to return your aligners.
