Welp, this is not my favorite item. Listen, I know there are a lot of people out there who wholeheartedly feel if Rachel says it’s cool, then it’s gotta be cool. But no matter how hard I tried, this just wasn’t cool on me.
I don’t know, maybe it’s because the print was too “loud” for my personality. Maybe it’s because I’m not of petite stature so I looked like a big ole palm tree. Or perhaps it’s because…I just don’t like the print design all that much. I tried, honestly, I tried!

The colors, however, are fabulous! And the textile (although I don’t really know what it is) is lush.

I scoured social media sites for others who had received the duster and we’re rocking the look. And these people exist, they do! Hard as I try…I just can’t replicate the coolness vibe some gracefully rocked. That’s not to say there isn’t a place in my life for these tassels!

BONNIE CLYDE- THE HILL SUNGLASSES (Exclusive) – Retails for $64
“A little bit Audrey Hepburn and a little bit Twiggy, these playful sunnies suit a variety of face shapes.”

These are super cute. The sunnies are large and in charge, which typically is a “no-go” for me when it comes to eyewear. But these are in a wonderfully chic understated translucent light pink hue. The color accomplishes two things
a) the oversized size of the frame comes across less dramatic
b) it creates a certain mystery to the “wearer” of the sunglasses.

LILI CLASPE – ROPE THE MOON LARIAT – gold or silver (Exclusive) – Retails for $115
“This simple-yet-stunning lariat was designed exclusively for members as the ideal finishing touch—it complements everyone’s unique style.”

This lariat necklace is my absolute favorite item in the box!!! I love everything about it. From the delicate moon and star to the weight and length of the chain and it’s extension capabilities. And the drop length of the lariat lands perfectly on my décolleté.

Anyone who knows me would expect that when I received the necklace in gold I would be disappointed. And at first, I may have been…but that disappointment dissipated quickly. I love this even more in gold! There’s just something about the moon and stars being gold that makes everything feel right in the world.
This is a magical and inspiring piece of jewelry. It invokes reminders to appreciate the power in this universe that’s bigger than us.

KOPARI – COCONUT ROSE TONER – Retails for $24
“Applied on a fresh face after cleansing, it tightens pores and preps skin for serum or moisturizer.”

I’ve never understood toners, which in turn is probably why I haven’t been able to give them their due props. Even Rachel’s description confuses me. “Tightens pores and Preps skin for serums and moisturizer?” Don’t we want our pores open so the serums and moisturizers can get into them, no?
Oh Well, I can move past this personal conundrum of mine and give you the more important information about this toner. It’s refreshing and has a lovely scent. And it’s free of silicon, sulfates, parabens, and phthalates; 3 of which I’ve heard of but all 4 I’m glad aren’t in there. Works for me…should there be more to a toner? Seriously…please someone educate me on the magic of toner!

KOPARI – LIP LOVE for $12
“Made with all-natural coconut oil and shea butter, this lippie is super hydrating and never sticky.”

I’m digging this brand Kopari which is new to me with my Spring BOS. The brainchild behind Kopari is the daughter of a surfing legend who spent her youth on the sands of Hawaii’s beaches. That’s all the street cred she needs for me, or should I say beach cred. It’s no wonder she is turned coconut, nut! I will be purchasing more of the Kopari products!

The California Edition is getting some great reviews. To me, the vibe in the Spring 2018 Box of Style is very reminiscent of Slim Aarons photography in the 1960’s, in which he created a fantasy-like California scene full of a prismatic socialite existence.
