The Spring 2018 FFF box is full of amazing women’s lifestyle products. Normally I like to just get right to telling you about the “goods, but this is a first for me. I’m compelled to include some review’ing of the actual box.

Whole-e-Sheet, can I just say that the actual box for the FabFitFun Spring 2018 Box created such an unexpected response.

Artist Bijou Karman has created the most beautiful collaboration with FFF for the Spring 2018 box.

My whole life I’ve struggled to understand Art, yet oddly I’m drawn to all things by their aesthetic appeal. Art, however (in its intimidating way of making me feel less worldly because I don’t “get” it) always feels beyond my realm of connection and therefore, appreciation.

Enter Bijou Karman. Her images are captivating. It’s as though I’m seeing glimpses of experiences through her eyes . It all tells a story of people she’s met along the road.  And I am drawn to the funky modern flair. Someone, please assure me I’m not modern or funky.

The inside of the box at first glance appears simple, but it’s actually layer upon layer of some peaceful place to escape to.

I found myself just staring at each image at a time. It made me feel at peace, simply content. At the same time I never felt like I had uncovered all of it. It like there’s more to discover with each image.

I’ve always wanted to try a sleep mask. I think the desire was sealed with my 1st viewing of Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Why I never bought one, not sure. Maybe the Universe had a plan for me that included Free People’s Starry Eyed one.

It has an adjustable strap to allow for perfect sizing and fit. It has a (removable) GEL PACK that you can refrigerate! Let the de-puffing commence!!! And for my Vegan Friends…that may look like leather on the front, but nope. Hold onto your steel cut oats vegan’ites of the Society…It’s Vegan Leather!

The Clutch comes in 1 of 3 patterns – Zahara, Bloom, or Paradise. I’m pretty sure my design is the Zahara.

These carefree yet sleek reversible clutches. I love the mix of textiles used in the bag. The patterned side is a canvas type-o material (I actually have no idea what it’s made of). The other is one heck of a soft pleather (it’s not plastic and it’s not leather).

And no clutch is complete without a tassel! The contrast of the bright tassel against the white is my FAVORITE detail. Even though I love the contrast with this option in which way you style the clutch, I’m not making a commitment to which way I plan to be rockin this bag. Reversibility in a handbag is a “commitment phobe” girls best friend.

This Rachel Pally clutch will get you through some of your greatest spring events. Keep in mind though, don’t plan on taking it anywhere you need much. It’s sleek, remember? It’s just enough handbag to handle your keys, phone, lip choice, and 2 chosen cards (I suggest id and debit card). After that you will run the risk of bulk.

There’s even a pocket inside to separate your chosen contents.

I will never end my pursuit of finding my (I say “my” cause what’s mine may not be yours) holy grail skin perfecting lotion. If MURAD shall be the chosen one – so be it!

And “french” language added to any beauty formula ALWAYS given it a better chance of making into my life. Those french ladies got it goin-on!

Each new shiny bottle or tube that shows up in my feed offers me the possibility of radiance. A possibility I can’t resist. I want to be radiant, damn it. I will never stop testing and trying out formulas. And even when I find a magical product to use, I still need some back-ups on hand. You see my skins likes things to be shaken up every so often. It’s like it gets bored.

Once again FabFitFun has us subscribers on the edge of our seats with anticipation of which one will I get. OK, I know – a bit dramatic. The Anderson Lilley candle comes in 3 scents – Manhattan Beach, Fresh Linen, or Super Bloom.

SCORE! I have Fresh Linen. Well, OK so not fresh linens, but you’d never know it now that i have a candle that smells like my linens are fresh!

I’m still trying to figure the No15 part of this candle. I’m assuming the others have different numbers. I wonder if Coco has any idea how her “product name numbering game” allows brands to elevate their status with the simple use of adding a Un, deux, trois, c’est.

And let us not gloss-over the copper vessel our candle comes in. Copper is hot right now, but I’m not sure why.

It’s a body butter. The simple and plain fact is that I need lotion. The dilemma – I hate feeling like I have lotion on.  High maintenance much?  It makes me quite choosy with my chosen body lotions. Since I’ve had measurable success with KORRES products previously this item is a welcomed addition in my FFF Spring Box.

DERMELECT COSMECEUTICALS Makeover Conceal Ridge Filler – Retail: $18.00

Allowing an unknown into my society elicits all sorts of sketchy vibes for me.  But Dermelect showed up in my box and if it’s good enough for FFF it’s good enough for me. Well at least to give them a fair shake-down.

But this pretty little bottle and nude hue has me curious. And, I’ve been looking for a natural, slightly translucent nude color that won’t make me look dehydrated. By the looks of this – it could work.

Although it’s pretty enough and truly does conceal the ridges – the glimmery’esque tone wasn’t necessarily my thing. I was really hoping for a flat beige’esque tone.

Nonetheless – I’m still wearing it several days later.

I hate to brag (no I don’t, not when it comes to the few characteristics I can take ZERO credit for) but I have kick ass nails. In fact most people believe they are artificial or a gel polish on top. I credit this to a nail product that I’ve been using since college and it’s my HOLY GRAIL of nail treatments. So, it took some getting used to (since I’m loyal to a fault to my other product) opening myself up to the another. Ohhh the vulnerability!

I must say so far I do like this Dermelect nail treatment. Who knew finger nails would require “concealer” too as we age. Just you watch…I bet you my “kick ass nails” that finger nail concealer is the next big thing!
