I’m quite impressed by the Owl Crate site, indeed! In fact, it’s probably one of my favorites so far. It’s very welcoming as if they really want me there. You are certainly welcomed in their community.
It’s tidy. The font, colors, contrast and images all flow easily. Their menu options conveniently located at both the top & bottom are clear and concise. There’s no wondering what menu to go to find your answers. It’s logical. It’s not too bare and it’s not cluttered. It made me want to put on a beret, sit out at a too cool to be cool, coffee shop and read something that would expand my intellectual mind. It’s possible I’m a literary scholar in the making.
