Come to the dance floor ready to tango, cause Beauty Box 5 has choreographed and lovely performance. I’m going to just skip all the warm up and let you know DANG…Beauty Box 5 is giving another comparable beauty box subscription some serious competition.
Here’s the thing…if you’re into discovering chic, indy brands that are up and coming at a freaking steal – then Beauty Box 5 ‘s subscription beauty box for you. It’s packed full of products that are full size and TOTALLY worth the $12 bucks a month.
First up in the May subscription box from Beauty Box 5 …
be a…Bombshell blush in the color Cougar.
This is a bronze’esque shade that can be used really anywhere you’d like it to do magic. A little love on the eyelids – check, a little pop on the cheekbones – check, a little contour shade down the sides of the nose – check. It’s not shimmery at all which makes this cougar –
And to perfectly complement my new blush came the Beauty Box 5 Hustle and Glow Highlight Fan Brush.
I could sit here and tell you how I felt about this brush…but let’s be real. I have no idea about cosmetic brushes and their efficiency. Never have and never will be a pro at the cosmetic tool game. I’ll tell you this…it’s super soft. That’s about as far as my knowledge goes toward make-up brushes.
I’ll have to up my game on this knowledge bank of mine…#Goals!
Next up did Hair Bobby Pins.
I have bangs (or “fringe” for my European readers) as you all know. I often wear them clipped back and so bobby pins are an essential in my little reality. These bobby pins are seriously the most secure feeling little fringe grabbers I’ve ever had the pleasure of collaborating with.
The only thing I wish is that they weren’t gold because it makes them a little too noticeable for my purpose. However, I fully intend to get them in black for that “I’m not wearing a bobby pin, bobby pin, look.”
Pssst – for those who love a good real housewife as much as I do – Erika Jayne totally approval stamped did Hair too! Can I get a holla for some RHOBH delight!
Jean Pierre cosmetics Vitamin-C Mask Sheet.
I haven’t tried this out yet because – well I just haven’t. I actually may gift this to a friend because I’m currently trying out a new product on my face and so not sure I want to add anything that could have the potency potential to make a change. When I’m trying out new things I try to lay off other skin products in order to avoid confusion in knowing which product the result came from.
And finally a brand new sparkly Rose Gold Lash Curler by Sweep.
This is a contender with some very capable eyelash curlers. Not only is it sparkly in all its rose-gold glory, but I performed a “curl-off” with my tried and true very expensive curler. You can see that in the unboxing video here. The Sweep eyelash curler was super impressive.
Saahweeet Sweep of the lashes! In fact, my lashes were giving the Beauty Box 5 Fan highlight brush a wee bit of fan envy.
Members of the Society – I’m totally ready to initiate this Beauty Subscription Box by Beauty Box 5 . These are some kick a** products that will be used. I will be adding this as a front runner for beauty box subscriptions in this price range.
Beauty Box 5 is most certainly to be included in Society worthy subscriptions.
