Ordering my first Fabletics had me wondering mayybbbeeee they were trying to pull a fast one on me, or maybe my computer had a glitch. Or maybe I wasn’t Fabletics savvy yet.
Ok, the drill…you pay $49.95 a month for your VIP status subscription. You then go in choose items, and in my case, try to pick items that add up as close as possible $49.95 without being under. Cause that’s where the goods are. VIP prices and free shipping.

Let’s do this homies! Unfortunately, this task proved more complicated than expected.
I added leggings and a tank top. Wait that banner says you get 2 pairs of leggings for $24.00. Whaaaat? No brainer…I’m getting TWO pairs. 1st pair already added to cart…BAM!
Adding pair 2 in a different size (for my daughter) shut down! No comprende! Not happening. It wouldn’t let me choose a different size. WTF?
Ok ok…so maybe I get 2 pairs of leggings for $24.00 if they are the same size. I can roll with that, I’m not diggin it, but I can roll with it.
Moving on!
I have $6.00 I need to spend to hit my VIP status so that I get free shipping and these VIP prices. Off to accessories I go. Ohhh…cute 3 pack of socks. The red price tag says six and some change, add to cart and I’m out!
Umm, I’m no math scholar, but why is my total that much? Whoa hold up…why is the price of the socks when in my cart eleven and some change?
Right quantity? yep Right pack of socks? yep. Yo, what’s up??? Back to accessories I go, and yea there’s the price in red six and some change. I believe there’s been an error Kate. What I failed to see is that’s the listed price for introductory. Back up…but I’m a VIP dammit!

Anyway, I ended up deleting socks. And let me share with you had me wondering again, are they crafty or is there a glitch. It wasn’t as easy as clicking delete.
I went re-browsing, got myself a white sleeveless tee and mastered how to get a different size 2nd pair of leggings, persistence paid off. My total ended up at $56.22.
Not bad, not bad girlfriend! That’s only six and some change over the necessary $49.95 (the irony of the amount is not lost on me)! Success, I say so.
But in hindsight, the whole ordering process did have me take pause to ask…
- Did I just buy things at discount prices for reals?
- If I had been in a hurry would I have just spent more than I needed to?
- Did I need to be a member to get these prices, cause the socks were lower for non VIP’s?
- If these leggings don’t make my ass look like Kate’s will I be pissed off?
